Family Holidays
Mix and match from our many different day outings, overnights, active holidays to suit all your family.
We recommend
- Choose one or two places as a base.
- Bed and Breakfast – our recommended houses provide excellent food and will cater to young appetites.
- Bring some basic food which your child enjoys – cereal, snacks, etc.
- Let us know well in advance any particular likes and dislikes, alergies, etc.
- For very young children bring a light weight stroller – Cuban cities often have little or no space on a sidewalk. Most Cuban houses have several steps up to the entrance. Many stores do not allow any strollers inside.
- Bring any OTC medications which your family is used to. Do not rely on any medications being available except by prescription.
- People with disabilities – we make all of our tours and homestays as accessible as possible- however Cuban cities are not yet up to world standards for basic accessibility. Please discuss this with us so that we can offer viable and appropriate solutions.
- TALK TO US – the more we know about your family – the better the holiday! Most parents have specific concerns – tell us and we can give you honest replies!

Every Day Life in Cuba
For families with older adults
Please let us know of any limitations – cranky knees, stiff hips, problems with stairs. Most people need a bit of help now and then – TELL US WHAT YOU NEED. We have ski poles to dig into muddy ground, light weight chairs for museums, and many helping arms to get you there. We also have the perfect massage at the end of a day of adventures.
